Peter Teng, MD

Professor

Dr Peter Teng is a general invasive cardiologist, a new faculty recruit after more than 15 years of private practice experience, who enjoys seeing patients with all types of cardiac problems. He was an early adopter of Coronary CT imaging in SF that grew from his research training in atherosclerosis, and vascular endothelium. In addition to his interest in various cardiac imaging modalities, including echocardiography, he routinely performs transesophageal echocardiograms, cardiac catheterizations and pacemaker implantations.
